Let us tell you about Ebuka—a young boy with fire in his spirit and dreams far bigger than his circumstances.

Ebuka was still in secondary school when life dealt him a heavy blow. Raised by a loving single mother who worked tirelessly to provide, he watched her face the unrelenting weight of survival alone. Despite her strength, the bills kept rising, and the pressure kept building.

One day, Ebuka made a heartbreaking decision—he dropped out of school. He wasn’t lazy or unmotivated. He simply couldn’t watch his mother struggle anymore. So he stepped away from his own future to stand by hers.

That could have been the end of his story. But then, we found him.

At White Orchid Foundation, we saw more than just a boy forced to quit school. We saw potential. We saw a spark. We saw someone worth fighting for.

So we did.

Ebuka received a full scholarship from our foundation. We made a promise to support his education, and he made a promise to give it everything he had.

Today, that same boy, once at the edge of giving up has completed his WAEC and JAMB, and is preparing to enter the university of his choice. His mother no longer carries the weight alone, and Ebuka now walks in the direction of his dreams—with confidence, dignity, and hope.

His journey is still unfolding, but his story is already a testimony:
